THE FINISHED BOAT - 2005

We took delivery of Per Angusta just before Christmas 2004 - there were still a few bits and pieces to be finished off but the rental on the mooring where Darren had been building her was up. Darren had now got his own workshop but this was not on the canal and it would have meant craning Per Angusta off the canal, transporting her, then craning her into the workshop. The process would then have to be reversed shortly after. So we agreed with Darren that he would finish her off at her home moorings. Inevitably, this meant that it took longer than it would have done if she was in the workshop - but we still took her out for day cruises with friends and family while the finishing touches were added.
